GCUC is a two-day conference which attracts members of the coworking industry from around the world, and bids are open for a new city to host this exciting conference. The 2014 GCUC will attract a projected 400 attendees from all over the world and inject approximately $500,000 into the city's economy according to its organizers. The conference will also allow the host city to showcase its local attractions and unique points of interest in a way that encourages repeat visits to the city by conference attendees.

The preferred dates for the 2014 conference are May 2nd and 3rd. An organizing committee from the host city will help us find a venue and hotel room blocks at discounted rates, catering, a venue for the GCUC after-party, recruit volunteers, build relationships with local media, locally promote the conference, and meet with local vendors if necessary.

GCUC will provide support to the local organizing committee and manage the other aspects of the conference, such as conference marketing, social media, contacting national press, and PR, as well as recruiting sponsors and speakers, creating the conference agenda, and managing operations during the conference.
