Euro Cup fever will soon sweep the region, drawing hordes of football enthusiasts to the nearest big screen to watch the matches. Starting yesterday and running until July 31st, the Coworking Cup 2012 will bring coworking spaces members together in friendly competition and help strengthen ties between their members. Individuals can collaborate in teams, and teams of coworkers and startups from around Europe will compete against one another in  31 rounds of betting for a top spot in the global group ranking, with the best teams to receive prizes.

Registration and participation is free, and, in the true spirit of coworking, you can choose with whom and how you play. All coworking spaces are also invited to participate in the project, by either entering the competition or registering as a screening venue.

The project is supported by Coworking Cologne, an umbrella organisation, and powered by Deskwanted. A number of coworking spaces are also already on board. The call out for sponsors is still open, and those interested in supporting the Cowo Cup should visit the website or contact This email address is being protected from spambots.
